This week will put us in a very spiral kind of mood as we begin with this string ~
|IAST 179 by Adele Bruno, CZT|
Betweed by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts
The link above will take you to the Zentangle® newsletter. The history of the tangle, Rick and Maria's examples, and a link to a video (their first!) where Maria demonstrates the pattern can be found there.
This is a tangle that I use often and I hope that you find you will too.
Dust Bunny by Margaret Bremner, CZT
This is the second appearance of the tangle on IAST. Fun to draw, and dimensional when shaded, you will have a good time with this one.
Curl by Lu-Marie Laker
This tangle lends itself to be incorporated into the other tangles and to stand on its own as well.
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away!
Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.
